I'm 63. I had been suffering with back pain for many years, a result of carrying the mail for the USPS for 20 years... About four months, (Oct 2009) I had a bout of sciatica in my right leg. I couldn't sleep at night and I had trouble getting out of chairs. Walking for more than 30-45 minutes would put me out of commission for the rest of the day... My friend, Sherrie, saw me limping and climbing my stairs on all fours. She had a similar problem and had been treated at Sequoia PT with great results. I had a completely collapsed disc in my low back. The vertebrae were bone on bone. On a scale of 1-10, my pain was a 10 plus. I had a caregiver during the day and a nurse at night.
