History
Sequoia was founded in 1989. For 15 years it was located in the Sequoia Fitness Center. In January 2005, the company was told it had to move because Sequoia Fitness Center was being torn down to build a new shopping center. The company then relocated to the CenterPark Plaza building at 6131 Orangethorpe Avenue in Buena Park. In September 2007, the company expanded its office in Orange, CA to provide a more complete set of services, including Successful Aging.
Mission Statement
To provide the very best care possible to help patients age successfully, return to work or get back in the game.
Treatment Specialities
Sequoia has three treatment specialties: Orthopedic, Geriatric and Sports Injuries.
- Orthopedic includes pre- and post-surgical rehab on the spine and all major joints. Our therapists are constantly learning so they can provide the best methods of treatment. One example is our Pain Free Walking program for patients having surgery on ankles, knees or hips. And our clinic has state-of-the-art equipment to improve therapeutic outcomes, including a vibration platform and unweighted treadmill.
- Geriatric includes physical therapy for many age related physical conditions, such as arthritis, osteoporosis, cancer, hip and joint replacement, and balance disorders.
- Sports Injuries includes therapy for all types of injuries that may or may not require surgery. These include contact injuries, non-contact injuries and overuse injuries.
